Terlan is a village
which lies in the middle of the Etsch Valley and it is famous for
its fruit orchards and vineyards as well as for its asparagus and
fantastic white wine. Bozen is about 10 km away and Meran is about
16 km away. In spring, the small town attracts visitors and locals
for asparagus-events. In summer, the outdoor swimming pool and the
tennis courts invite you to an active holiday and in autumn it is
all about "Törggelen".
The church in Terlan with its historic frescos is an absolute must
for all art lovers. The wonderful view from the Castle ruins "Neuhaus"
